The Department of Mechanical Engineering(ME-Engineering Design) was started in the year 2010,which offers both BE and ME Engineering Design Programmes. The department offers consultancy in the manufacturing process, design and testing a range of products.The department maintains a close liaison with a number of industries through faculty research.

The Department has competent and committed faculties. Thefaculty comprises of experts from the industry, practising professionals and academicians which enhance the delivery of academic Programs in the department.

Faculty members and students are provided opportunities to join as member of professional societies such as SAE, ISTE and IE.

The Department has signed MOU with industries such as:

Publications

Faculty members are publishing their research works as technical papers in National and International journals. About 15 papers have been published in the last two years. A number of UG students present technical papers in student level paper contest / conferences.
