Electrical and Electronics Engineering department was established in the year 2003 with intake of 60. The B.E Course has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. This is a course for engineers who hope to take up a career in design and implementation of electrical and electronic circuits in a wider engineering environment.

Up-to-date learning is imparted to the students in new innovations. Sufficient modules like project management, preparation, modeling and classification of data, designing of embedded systems, robust control, simulation in power system, power electronics, electromagnetic field theory, advanced computational methods in modeling and engineering design are taught using sophisticated techniques.

The department has received grants from AICTE to implement the Modern Laboratory of about 25 Lakhs.The Department has developed an Energy club which utilize the renewable energy for various applications in college premises. Along with Energy club we started Global warming awarness program through website www.azhaguboomi.org.Faculty members and students are provided with opportunities to join as members of Professional societies such as IE ,IEEEand ISTE.
