The department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1998 with intake of 120 which offers both B.E. and M.E. programmes. It provides coaching in Computer Science with the intention to bring quality teaching methods in tune with practical research and training needed for this day. This is supported by the servers and single user computers which are connected by state-of-the-art network infrastructure.

The department offers an insight of learning experience through degree and short term courses which are conducted with industrial assitance.

The department conducts various continuing education programmes for school teachers, school children in rural areas and Electricity Personnel. Faculty members and students are provided with oppurtunities to join as members of professional societies such as ISTE, CSI, IEEE and IE.
